I'm Making steady progress here. I'm not just copying code. I'm spending a LOT of extra time to understand how all the views, layouts, and controller files work together.

MySQL had a problem, and after doing some research, I couldn't find where the mySQL cache was, to delete it, so I just reinstalled mySQL-- Got that fixed.

Netbeans 6.01 is a delight to use. I even got the mySQL database manager portion working.

This is a big chapter. I still have a long way to go.

Well finally, I'm getting the hang of this. RailsSpace is the third book I've bought, and the first one that seems to put all the concepts in the right order.

With Agile Web Development, I was building a storefront. When I need a storefront, I'll check back there.

But NOW-- building a web community-- now this is the kind coding I want to learn.
