[Disclosure: the photo that you see on the left is the one of my son Mattia with his girlfriend Soraya, somewhere in the south of France. I am slightly older than them, as you may be tempted to think from my picture in gmail :-)].
After years of real-time apps (network mgmt, Snmp), I began a sabbatical into scripting languages; after a furious flirt with Perl, I finally met Ruby (and nothing was ever the same again..).
Recently, I began to read RailsSpace (then diving into it!) and I was granted the chance to comment some aspects of the code in the RailsSpace blog.
I plan to complete my Rails study in May 2008, and look for a job with Ruby and Rails.
