I'm learning Ruby and Ruby on Rails at present. I've done programing with Flash Actionscript (2.0) for Flash Communication Server 1.5 applications as part of an NCSA research assistantship.

Years ago, I did Perl scripting for class projects as well as a database-driven website used by a student-run university newspaper.

I am the father of two children, and I live with my wife on multi-acre piece of land where we grow fruit trees, grapes, strawberries, asparagus, and a variety of native prairie plants.
