I really am liking the way this book is written. It's very comfortable to read and I totally dig the style of the text -- all "conversationy" and such. Really refreshing.

Oh... and I keep having very "giddy" moments where I find myself just saying out loud "oh, so damn cool!!" and the like. Those exclamations are frequently followed by in-book text like "Pretty cool, no?" -- to which I answer aloud "yes. Yes it is."

Funny that I'm talking out loud to a book, but I'm really getting excited about doing Web work again! I'm sure it's part Rails (and Ruby, with which I've never worked) but also quite a bit driven by the writers of this book, I think.

Thanks for helping make this stuff fun, guys! I'm so stoked to get my new site framework more fully fleshed out so I can put it live and extend it from there. Supah cool!

Blah... had to start it out somehow. I'm not sure what I'm doing in here when I have so much work to do.
